Dear stitchers, as you probably know I've recently celebrate my birthday on line with all my web-friends; now that Christmas is coming I hope you'll enjoy one more gift.
It's a special free pattern from an Italian Designer who is well known abroad: my dear friend Giulia Manfredini a.k.a. Giulia Punti Antichi. She created this pattern just for me and my site, and she allowed me to share it with you.
To me it's a true honour and a real pleasure, and I'm sure that you will find it lovely too!!

Dear stitchers that visit this site, I don't know who you are, but it is always a great emotion for me to think that all of you (coming from places so far away from my country) can enter my site and come into my life as well.
I often look at the map that ClustrMap gave me free of charge
 |
and I stare at all those red dots: I realized that some of you are living in places I don't even know... it's amazing the way that internet joins us! It shortens the distances and allows us to know so much more about different places and cultures.
In addition, all of us stitchers have something more: we share the same passion for cross stitch, that passion which led you here and which gets us even closer!!
On December 15th I have celebrated my birthday; on that day, to share my happiness with all my stitcher web-friends, I have published this little gift idea of mine together with the label that you can print.
I would like to share it with all of you that enter my English version site, and I beg you pardon for the late with which I put it online.
It will be my Christmas present for you.
So, here is my "Survival Kit for Stitchers in withdrawal symptoms"
( "a.k.a. Survival kit for Stitch-a-holics" : -)))

Click on the image with the right mouse key and save it to print it whener you want.

Materials necessary for creating your own "Survival kit":
- 1 small glass bottle of juice
- 1 piece of 14 count aida fabric, cm 10 x 11
- 1 single colour pattern (approximately 25 x 25 points)
- 1 needleful of mouliné thread approximately 110 cm long (as far as me, I've used the new DMC Colour Variations)
- 1 round tip embroidery needle
- 1 cap whose size fits the juice bottle's crown *
- the small machine to seal that kind of caps *
- 1 bow to decorate your own kit (approx. 50 cm)
* if you don't find that kind of caps, you can use any method your fantasy suggests you to seal your bottle.
Wash the small bottle of juice and remove the former label with hot water.
Roll up the piece of aida fabric, roll up the pattern, bind them all with the moulinè floss and thread the needle.
Seal your bottle, apply "Survival Kit" label and decorate the kit with a beautiful bow :- ) |
I also invite you to download my first Wall Paper (1024 x 768); I do hope that many others will follow soon!
In my "new year good will list" I also wrote: "Update the English Version more often"!! :-))
One last thing: I always welcome comments... I love them!!! :-)))
