Charity
Some time ago on the discussion forum I usually attend I read a post which intrigued me: a girl was anxiously asking which was the sense in going on and on in making laceworks, she did not want to stuff her house fearing to be considered a maniac of cross stitch, she did not want to go on giving her relatives only laceworks (even though I do not agree, a hand-made present is the most precious gift one can do and ideas to be always original do not certainly lack in the survey of cross stitch), our friend was passing through a crisis since she could not find a real reason to keep on cultivating her passion. Other registered members soon answered and suggested she could stitch for charity. I already knew of some interesting initiatives, but thanks to our friend’s doubt I realized that not everybody is aware of how many charity initiatives there are on line. From here my idea to dedicate a section of my website to these initiatives: between them some I personally joined, some I am simply willing to point out and some other I myself organize. I hope they will let you feel like stitching for charity.
